For Attorneys, Fiduciaries and Wealth Advisors

Art Partners Advisory works alongside estate attorneys, family offices, wealth managers, insurance professionals and interior designers to support clients whose collections require independent, well documented advice. Whether the need is a USPAP-compliant appraisal for an estate matter, an objective second opinion before an acquisition, or ongoing collection oversight for a family office client, we act as an extension of your own team, not a competing advisor to your client relationship.

A Note on Referrals

Many of our engagements begin with an introduction from an attorney, wealth manager or family office we already know. We are always glad to make the same kind of introduction in return, whether that is to a trusted colleague in our own network or simply staying in touch for future matters that may be relevant to your practice. If you would like to discuss how we might work together on a current or future matter, we welcome the conversation.

If you are working with a client who may benefit from an independent appraisal or advisory opinion, we would welcome hearing from you directly. Reach us at info@artpartnersadvisory.com, or learn more about our appraisal services and advisory work.

Why Work With Us?

Art related questions rarely arrive with much warning: a client is settling an estate, updating an insurance policy, or making a significant acquisition and needs a qualified opinion quickly, with documentation that will hold up to scrutiny from the IRS, an insurer or opposing counsel. We built our practice around exactly this kind of work.

Dual professional accreditation. We hold membership with both the Association of Professional Art Advisors and accreditation with the Appraisers Association of America, a combination that reflects both advisory judgment and formal appraisal credentialing. Many practices offer one or the other. We bring both to every engagement.

USPAP compliance as standard, not an add on. Every formal appraisal we prepare meets the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice and the documentation requirements of the IRS, so your client's report is defensible from the outset, whether the matter involves estate tax, charitable donation, insurance or litigation.

Direct experience with sophisticated, cross border clients. Based in Paris with a satellite presence in Vancouver, we regularly advise international collectors, family offices and finance professionals seeking guidance on the art market, including clients navigating valuations across more than one jurisdiction.

Genuine independence. We hold no inventory, represent no artists, and do not earn commission on sales. Our fees are never based on a percentage of a work's value. This means our opinion is not shaped by an incentive to buy, sell or overvalue, which matters as much to your client as it does to you when a valuation may be tested by a court, an insurer or a tax authority.
