Art Books to add to your Reading List in 2025

How can we understand the complex and mysterious world of art? To get started, we often turn to books on the subject. Having put together a variety of reading lists for clients, I thought to centralize these curated lists in one place on Amazon and share them more broadly in hopes they might be useful to you. The result is a non-exhaustive selection of reading lists to help you learn more about the art market, collecting, aesthetics and art related theory. The lists will be updated regularly with new and interesting titles, so feel free to follow along for updates. I would like to cover topics that interest me personally (hello Canadian art) as well as covering topics that might be interesting to a broader audience, always with collecting in mind.
